The perfect way to use up some store cupboard taples and elevate something we all love! Turn on the slow cooker and prepare these delicious homemade baked beans that go perfect on toast, with nachos's or on the side of your favourite dishes.

Ingredients
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 green pepper, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1x 400g can pinto beans
1x 400g can haricot beans
1x 400g can kidney beans
4 tbsp BBQ sauce
700ml passata
2 tsp smoked paprika
A few dashes Worcestershire sauces
To garnish: Handful of coriander leaves, chopped, to serve
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker - give them all good stir to mix and coat well. Place the lid on top and cook on a low heat for around 6-8 hours until the sauce is thick. Serve with a sprinkling of fresh coriander.
