Smoked Salmon and Chive Cream Cheese Blinis

Shop-bought blinis are a great thing to have on hand over the party season to rustle up some impromptu canapés (they are suitable for freezing too!). With a bit of cream cheese, some posh piping and smoked salmon scraps, you end up with a classic party snack.

1 packet of pre-made blinis
100g smoked salmon
180g Cream Cheese
Bunch chives, chopped
Few sprigs dill, optional
Pinch poppy seeds, optional
1 lemon, zest and juice
First up, make the cream cheese filling, pop the cream cheese into a bowl and add the chopped chives and the lemon zest and juice.
Season and mix well before adding to a piping bag.
Shred your smoked salmon and top each of the blinis with some cream cheese and a slice of salmon.
Garnish with the poppy seeds and dill if you have them.
